Does BondProof replace the official condition report or inventory?
No. Keep and complete the official document required for your rental. BondProof helps you organise additional photographs and notes.
What does a file fingerprint mean?
The report records a SHA-256 fingerprint for each included file as a consistency check. It is not a government or independent certification.
Can I create a record if I already live in the rental?
Yes. The current condition path starts the record on the day you create it and avoids implying what the rental looked like earlier.
Can BondProof compare move-in and move-out?
Yes. Premium can compare a move-out record with an earlier linked BondProof record. It does not invent a match when a room or photograph is missing.
Does BondProof send anything automatically?
No. Nothing is automatically submitted to a landlord, agent, bond authority, deposit scheme or tribunal.
